Founded in 1958 by Long John Distillers, Tormore was the first distillery constructed in the 20th century. Designed by celebrated architect Sir Albert Richardson, its distinctive, now-listed buildings are among the most striking in Speyside. Since 2005, the distillery has been owned by Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard) and has long played a key role in blends such as Ballantine’s.
