The agaves for this bottling were harvested from Rancho Tierras Negras in the San Ignacio Cerro Gordo region of Jalisco. It was an area previously used for cattle grazing and this is the first planting and harvest of agaves from the Rancho. There are dark clay soils which is where it gets its name of “Black Earth/Tierras Negras”. |

Nose: After aging for several months, the reposado tequila offers notes of marzipan, stewed plums, spearmint, and eucalyptus. Caramelized pineapple and olive tapenade add a touch of indulgence. Palate: Rich and creamy with notes of chocolate, coffee, pineapple, green bell pepper, and mint. Overall: White pepper and cinnamon deliver a long and lingering finish. |
