The photo was taken by my mother in 2021, In Liaoning, Jinzhou. A place where I was born and raised for a good 11 years. The last visit I made was in 2019. Before the lockdown, and before I intend to start 3MK. It is a corner of my hometown where I would like to share with you while you are sipping this beautiful Ledaig 17 Year Old. It offers a good layer and depth, sweet bourbon honey notes that made the Initial entry, turned to a burnt rubber ‘dirty peat’ expression. The sweetness guided along, not stealing the stage. Then it showcases some salinity and oiliness. Finished with the bourbon sweetness & nuttiness. |
