The distillery behind this 9-year-old Islay single malt whisky remains undisclosed. Matured in a 1st fill oloroso sherry quarter cask, it brings maritime peat and medicinal smoke together with citrus, nuts and dark sweetness. The small cask format adds concentration without erasing the whisky’s coastal character. Brine, mineral peat and smoked fruit remain present throughout, making this a Mystery Islay built on contrast between forceful spirit and richly seasoned oak. |
