Octaves are small casks holding just 65 litres of whisky and add loads of oaky flavour to its contents in just a short time. This release is a vatting of these tiny casks that previously held bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and amontillado sherry, creating a complex, rich and nutty dram. | |
