This is an annual bottling carefully selected by Highlander Inn Japan, which operates Highlander Inn Chichibu. The fifth release in 2024 , marking the 5th anniversary, is from Glenfarclas, a distillery that is considered a formidable rival to Macallan, and is one of the few distilleries today that has continued to be family-run for six generations while remaining committed to traditional Speyside-style whisky making.

　Tatsuya Minagawa and the other members of Highlander in Japan tasted several cask samples, and after unanimous agreement, one 1st- fill sherry butt was selected. The balance between the classic sherry cask maturation aromas and the elegant sweetness of dried fruit and sweets is exquisite.

　As an homage to Glenfarclas' historic masterpiece "105," this single cask, cask-strength whisky is labeled "108." It's a bottle packed with the tradition and history of Speyside.
