The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Renaissance is based on 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre. Its deep ruby/plum hue is followed by a more exotic bouquet of wild strawberries, Provençal garrigue, pot roast, and spicy, meaty nuances that carry to a full-bodied, concentrated, lively 2022 with fine tannins and outstanding length. It's going to need some bottle age, but it’s certainly a beautiful, exotic wine. . 94-96 points rated by Jeb Dunnuck
