The 2023 vintage has proven to be excellent in terms of quality, though yields were relatively low at 50 to 54 hl per hectare. Fermentation progressed slowly but steadily, allowing the fruit and aromas to develop beautifully early on. The wine showcases a nose of lemon thyme and yellow fruits, while the palate is lively, offering a slightly waxy texture and decent depth.

This AC Chablis hails from two outstanding terroirs: the flinty Beru Village and the Grand Cru-adjacent Fontenay. The village of Beru, located in the east, is naturally reductive according to winemaker Fabien. Recently, the estate has also incorporated fruit from a parcel behind the hill of Grand Crus near Fontenay. The blend of these two terroirs adds complexity, balancing the cool minerality and generosity of Fontenay with the finesse and restraint of Beru.
