Produced by Glasgow based independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co. this blended malt is a vatting of Islay malt whiskies including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen which is produced in small batches. This particular release was bottled for Tyndrum Whisky to commemorate the opening of Scotland's first gold mine in Tyndrum. Signed by Douglas Laing chairman, Fred Laing, there were just 300 individually numbered bottles produced at a cask strength of 53.5% abv. free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
