This single barrel was specially selected from numerous cask samples during a visit to the Worthy Park Distillery in Jamaica in 2023. Since the distillery only resumed operations in 2005, this 2006 distillation represents a small portion of the stock from its second year of operation, and its 17-year maturation makes it one of the longest-aged official bottlings released by the distillery. The WPL mark indicates a spirit with an ester value of 60-119, the oldest distilled spirit at the distillery, and a core component of its flavor. |
