This wonderful artisanal pure mezcal from Del Maguey is produced with only organic agave. It has been hand-crafted and twice distilled, very gradually, in tiny copper stills along a river, to enhance the flavour standards that highlight its adaptability in cocktails. It has a fruity fragrance with hints of honey, vanilla, and roast agave on the nose. On the palate, it has flavours of banana, tangerine, ginger, cinnamon, burnt sandalwood, and other fruits. The end is lengthy and smooth.

Nose : Subtly peppery with sweet milky notes in the background. Exotic fruit and a hint of varnish. It opens up to more animal and farmyard scents, leather, stable. It becomes mineral, with notes of macadamia and hot rubber.

Palate : The attack is sweet and slightly salty. It opens up precisely on the smoky and ashy register, then develops into licorice. Particularly loquacious, it confirms the mineral notes of the nose and macadamia.

Finish : Spices and pepper make a strong comeback. It lingers endlessly on the wood fire. It persists on leather and a hint of oil.
