An organic single malt Scotch whisky from the Deanston distillery, aged for 15 years before being bottled. Very interesting stuff from the Highland-based distillery.
Nose: Scones and brown bread. A hint of vanilla essence at the core, followed up by freshly cut grass.
Palate: Fruitier than the nose suggests, with notes of apple, pear and white grapes. Still rather grassy, and a little oily at points too.
Finish: White pepper and cedar.
