To support the growth ambition of Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, Diageo will allocate $245m (~$330m SGD) to build a distillery in Canada.

Expect to be operational in 2025. The new distillery will be sited in Ontario's St. Clair Township, producing up to 20 million litres of alcohol annually, with more job opportunities.

The key highlight will be the carbon-neutral design, in line with Diageo's sustainability action plan, 'Society 2030: Spirit of Progress'.

  • Resource efficiency technologies
  • 100% renewable energy ensure new distillery is carbon neutral
  • Zero-waste from landfills from all primary operations
  • Net-zero carbon emission by 2030
