A glorious 11 year old single malt, released as part of GlenAllachie's Wood Finish range! Matured in American oak barrels for over nine years, it's then transferred to Pedro Ximénez puncheons for the final few years, imparting complex layers of sweet fruit and rich oak.
Nose: Dark chocolate, banoffee pie, wafts of candied pineapple, and aromatic wood spice.
Palate: Baking spice galore with floral honey and dark burnt sugar, plump sultanas, nutmeg, and orange zest.
Finish: A whiff of vanilla rests beside boozy dried tropical fruit, raisins, and sweet, malty oak.
