Here we have Batch 11 of The GlenDronach Cask Strength series. This Highland single malt has been matured in oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for big helpings of dried fruit character, and sweet spice. Bottled naturally coloured, non-chill filtered, and at a robust ABV of 59.8%, so a drop of water wouldn't go amiss. A great whisky to cosy up with next to the fireplace this one.
VOL : 70cl
ABV: 59.8%
Offical Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dark gingerbread, with candied orange peel, dried raisins, and a touch of toasted almonds.
Palate: Rich fruitcake, cocoa nibs, dried currants, clove, cinnamon, and some dark muscovado sugar.
