Sweetness: Very Sweet

An exceptional plum liqueur on the basis of junmai daiginjo sake (Minowamon). The plums used are fragrant, red Nanko plums of size 4L (45 mm in diameter). The ume plums have become reddish through sunlight and this colour is transferred to the sake, which has a beautiful rose colour.

By harnessing the pure taste of Minowamon, this plum liqueur boasts a supreme harmony in flavours. It’s best to drink it cold and straight. Either as aperitif, as dessert sake, or also during the meal. Possible food combinations are creamy cheeses, wild duck with orange sauce, or foie gras. Well chilled, the sweetness is suppressed so that one can enjoy a superb balance; when the temperature rises, the rich sweetness increases.
